The Deputy Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council in Lagos State, Hon. Rasaq Ajala, has called for continuity in Lagos State’s progressive governance as the KOH/DSJ political movement begins its mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
Ajala, in a statement, described the emerging political journey as an opportunity to strengthen the gains recorded in Lagos and build on the legacy of the administration of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
He said the anticipated transition from the Sanwo-Olu administration to the next administration should be viewed as more than a change of leadership, but as an opportunity to sustain the progressive trajectory of the state.
According to him, the focus should remain on ensuring that Lagos continues to advance through continuity, renewed energy, greater inclusion and a stronger commitment to the people.
“The baton must be passed. The journey must continue. The progress must not stop. And a greater Lagos must be achieved,” Ajala stated.
He appealed to stakeholders across the state, including youths, professionals, artisans, market men and women, religious and community leaders, as well as other residents, to identify with the progressive movement ahead of 2027.
Ajala said the KOH/DSJ team was prepared to engage with Lagosians across communities, listen to their concerns, mobilise support and work with stakeholders towards a shared vision for the future of Lagos.
He urged residents to unite behind the movement, stressing that collective participation would be critical to sustaining the state’s developmental momentum.
The APC chieftain expressed optimism that the political mobilisation would contribute to the continued advancement of Lagos and the achievement of what he described as a “greater Lagos.”
