The program provides Fellows with the chance to gain invaluable professional experience while contributing to meaningful work in critical fields such as public health, education, international development, and more. Over the years, PiAf has built a strong reputation for shaping young leaders who make tangible impacts in their host communities while also developing the skills and global perspective needed for future leadership roles.
The 2026–27 cycle will also mark the 4th year of the Nexus program, a unique initiative within PiAf that connects talented young professionals who have been educated at African institutions with its growing global community. Through Nexus, the fellowship continues to strengthen its mission of fostering cross-cultural exchange, building capacity, and nurturing the next generation of leaders both in Africa and around the world.
