Ghanaian actor, comedian and broadcaster Seth Kwame Dzokoto has reportedly died after collapsing while participating in a live radio programme in Ghana’s Western Region.

Dzokoto reportedly collapsed in the early hours of Thursday, October 22, 2026, while serving as a panellist on the morning programme of Owass FM/Radio in Tarkwa.

He was subsequently rushed to a hospital in Tarkwa, where he was reportedly pronounced dead on arrival.

According to reports, Dzokoto had been battling a kidney-related illness.

The news of his death was confirmed by the Western Regional Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kirk Mensah, who said Dzokoto collapsed during the panel discussion and died after being taken to the hospital.

A livestream of the programme reportedly showed Dzokoto appearing to experience difficulty breathing shortly before the broadcast was abruptly interrupted. He was seen handing a bottle of water to another guest before the camera became unstable and the livestream ended.

Dzokoto gained national recognition for his portrayal of Judge Koboo in the popular Ghanaian television series Efiewura, becoming a familiar face in Ghana’s entertainment and broadcasting industry.

Further details concerning the circumstances surrounding his death, as well as funeral arrangements, are yet to be officially announced.
