The reigning Ibeshe Beauty Queen, Miss Sunday Senemie Oyinkansola, has called on young girls in Ibeshe Kingdom to embrace good character and positive values, saying moral conduct remains key to personal growth and community development.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with AKAB Media Communications Concept, the 19-year-old queen, who currently holds the Miss Ibeshe 2025 title, described her emergence as a deeply fulfilling experience, noting that the trust reposed in her by the people of Ibeshe has further strengthened her resolve to serve.
“I felt really excited. Seeing people believing in me and trusting me that I can represent them is so amazing,” she said.
Oyinkansola expressed her readiness to represent Ibeshe Kingdom both within and outside Nigeria, pledging to conduct herself with dignity and serve as a positive example to younger girls, especially those aspiring to contest in future editions of the pageant.
“I am ready to be of good behaviour and also be able to represent Ibeshe within and outside the country. I want to be a good role model to the young ones, especially those who aspire to contest next year,” she stated.
The beauty queen also revealed plans to embark on several community-focused projects but stressed that their success would depend largely on collective support from stakeholders and community leaders.
“I have a lot of projects to champion, but I can’t do it without the support of the community leaders, especially IKIDASS — the Ibeshe Kingdom Development Association,” she said.
Reiterating her message to young girls in the kingdom, Oyinkansola emphasized the importance of character and self-discipline.
“My message to young girls in Ibeshe Kingdom is that they should always exhibit good character,” she added.
She concluded by expressing appreciation to the traditional institution and key stakeholders in the kingdom for their support.
“I sincerely appreciate His Royal Majesty, Oba Yomi Chad Abayomi Okunsoya, the Ashiwaju of Ibeshe Kingdom, the members of IKIDASS, and the chiefs of Ibeshe for their support,” Oyinkansola said.
