The Dangote Refinery has increased the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to ₦1,275 per litre, marking a fresh adjustment from the earlier ₦1,245 rate, amid rising global crude oil prices.

In a customer advisory issued on Saturday, the refinery confirmed that the new price represents an additional ₦30 increase implemented within the same day. The revised rate took effect from 12:00 a.m. on March 21, 2026, replacing all previously announced prices.

The company emphasized that earlier pricing “is no longer applicable and should be disregarded,” signaling a complete review driven by volatile international oil market conditions.

Similarly, the refinery raised its coastal supply price from ₦1,512,648 to ₦1,646,748 per metric tonne. According to the notice, the updated rates apply to all pending and undelivered orders.

Customers operating under valid Bank Guarantees have been advised that they can continue loading based on existing approvals, provided they offset the price difference.

The latest development underscores the growing impact of global crude oil fluctuations on Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector, with concerns mounting over a potential rise in pump prices across the country.

“We wish to inform you that the previously communicated price is no longer applicable and should be disregarded due to prevailing market conditions,” the refinery stated in its advisory.
