The Executive Chairman of Mushin Local Government, Hon. Tunbosun Aruwe, has reaffirmed his commitment to education by rolling out a major welfare initiative for schoolchildren across the council area.
True to his pledge, Aruwe is set to distribute essential school supplies — including school bags, sandals, socks, exercise books, pens, and erasers — to pupils in all government-owned schools within Mushin.
According to him, the gesture is more than just the provision of materials; it is an investment in the future of Mushin’s children. “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world,” Aruwe emphasized, echoing the words of Nelson Mandela while highlighting his administration’s resolve to ensure that no child is left behind.
Residents and parents have hailed the initiative as a timely intervention that not only eases financial burdens but also inspires confidence and dignity in young learners as they return to school.
By prioritizing education, Aruwe’s administration continues to demonstrate that leadership is about action, impact, and a clear vision for the future.
