Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has been honoured with two prestigious awards at the 2025 Progressive Digital Media Summit held in Abuja.
The governor received the Most Digitally Engaged Governor and South West Governor of the Year awards in recognition of his administration’s strides toward transforming Lagos into a 21st-century city.
Reacting to the honour, Sanwo-Olu said the recognition affirmed that the state’s digital and developmental efforts were gaining national attention.
“For me, these are a reminder that our push to make Lagos a 21st-century city is being noticed and valued,” he stated.
The governor expressed appreciation to the All Progressives Congress (APC) youths for their role in sustaining the administration’s vision.
“I’m grateful to the APC youths for this recognition. Your energy, creativity, and loyalty keep our message alive. Let’s keep working together to move our state, our region, and our country forward,” he said.
