Popular Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, has shared her relief after narrowly escaping what could have been a serious domestic accident in her Lekki residence.
The actress recounted that parts of the POP ceiling in her home suddenly gave way, collapsing in her living area. Fortunately, she was not at home at the time of the incident, sparing her from potential harm. Her recently acquired car, which could also have been severely damaged, was not parked in the affected area.
Taking to Instagram to share the incident with her fans, Nkechi posted a video showing the extent of the destruction. In the clip, she expressed both shock and gratitude, emphasizing how timing saved her from injury and property loss.
Reflecting on the broader implications, she criticized the quality of buildings in Lekki, lamenting the substandard construction associated with the upscale neighborhood. She wrote: “Come to Lekki they said. Thank God no be inside house and my new car no Dey there… wetin I for talk abeg? It’s well with una Lekki developers.”
Her post has since sparked conversations online, with fans and fellow celebrities expressing relief at her safety and echoing concerns about the integrity of buildings in parts of Lagos.
