A Nigerian traveller has expressed delight over the improved immigration process at a local airport, praising recent digital upgrades that have replaced long queues with faster, automated checks.
In a viral video shared online, the traveller thanked Nigerians who continually pray for the progress of the nation, noting that his recent airport experience left him “baffled, surprised, and excited.”
“Formerly, we used to line up at the immigration point. But now it’s done digitally. We just opened our data page and placed it on that machine, and the door opened. So there was no need for all these long queues,” he said.
He described the innovation as evidence that Nigeria is “working,” while encouraging citizens to sustain their prayers for national growth and unity.
“This nation is beautiful. I didn’t believe what I saw. And it shall be greater and greater in the name of Jesus. Let’s keep praying for our dear nation. It is well with Nigeria. God bless you,” he added.
The video has since sparked conversations online, with many commending the improvements in Nigeria’s airport operations as a step in the right direction.
